Come on. Oh, that was nice. Welcome back to Once A dj. I'm here with the bonus episode, which is a little bit of an update.
It's been a bit quiet recently because I've had a few postponed sessions. It's just that time of year, I think. Illness, tiredness, all these sorts of things.
But there's already a load of great guests booked in for next year. So thanks again for listening, reviewing, sharing and getting in touch this year if you'd like to contribute to the show.
I'm looking to do an episode about digging stories, because we've all got some. It doesn't matter who you are really, as long as you've got this sort of passion for record collecting. You know, it takes you places.
For example, maybe you came across a load of test pressings at a car boot sale for eight quid, which you sold for 300 and that meant you could buy Serato. Oh no, that was me. Or maybe you went to your local car boot looking for records and found six Nintendo books.
I can only assume a disgruntled was selling, so you bought them all for a pound and then took a moment googled them trying to work out why you'd bought Nintendo books and found out that they were worth about 300 quid. Oh no. Yeah, that was me again.
Or maybe you went looking for a car boot sale the day after a gig in Norfolk and encountered the real life Wurzel Gummidge. Oh no, that was me again.
If you've got any funny, happy or sad digging stories, do send them across, ideally as voice notes to the Instagram or if you sent a wjpodcastmail.com the best ones will get a once a DJ 45 adapter clamp and some exclusive content that's going to be put on the new Patreon I'm launching in January. So yeah, get your best stories over and I'll be putting that episode out hopefully in the next couple of weeks. And thanks again and speak soon.
That was nice.
